Alcohol TestingNavicus offers breath alcohol and instant saliva alcohol testing at thousands of patient service centers nationwide. The tests are performed on-site by trained and certified professionals. Breath alcohol tests (BAT) conform to the Department of Transportation (DOT) model specifications for screening devices that measure alcohol. |
Instant DevicesWhen time is of the essence, an instant testing devices offer drugs of abuse screening that is rapid, reliable, and easy to use. Instant devices, also known as Point-of-Collection Testing (POCT), provide on-site screening for drugs of abuse, urine specimen validity, and saliva alcohol. Confirmations of nonnegative specimens are available through our certified laboratories. |
Collection Site ManagementNavicus offers drug screen collections at more than 11,000 patient service centers (PSCs) throughout North America. Collections are coordinated through laboratory owned in-network facilities. When additional coverage is needed collections are performed through Navicus trusted third-party facilities. |
Medical Review OfficerNavicus Medical Review Officers are certified by the AAMRO and members of the Drug Alcohol Testing Industry Association. We encourage the use of a Medical Review Officer (MRO) to review all negative and nonnegative results. Many variables may affect duration of detectability, such as drug metabolism, half-life, a subject's physical condition, fluid balance and state of hydration, and route and frequency of ingestion. |
