What is the WOTC?
The Work Opportunity Tax Credit is a federal hiring incentive for companies that employ individuals from the following target populations:
• Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) recipients
• Veterans
• Empowerment Zone

• Supplemental Security Income (SSI) recipients
• High-risk youth
